Haoyu Textile Co., Ltd. officially broke ground on its weaving project with an annual capacity of 50 million meters in Xinjiang. As a key investment attraction initiative for the region, the project carries a total investment of 153.6 million yuan and is scheduled for a 12-month construction period, with operations expected to begin in May 2026. Upon completion, the site will serve as a model modern textile industrial base in the region. According to the project leader, the facility will span 49 mu and feature 27,600 square meters of intelligent production workshops. It will be equipped with 460 domestically produced high-speed intelligent air-jet looms and related auxiliary systems. With integrated IoT technology and full-process digital management, the project aims to reduce energy consumption per machine by 18% and increase production efficiency by 25%. The system is designed to support flexible production of a variety of fabrics, including greige and flame-retardant textiles. In terms of sustainability, the project adopts an innovative system combining exhaust purification with waste heat recycling. Preliminary assessments show that key indicators such as energy and water consumption per unit of product outperform the Level 1 benchmarks outlined in the Clean Production Evaluation Index System for the Cotton Textile Industry, achieving over 40% emission reduction compared to conventional textile plants. This "smart + green" dual-driven development model sets a new example for upgrading Xinjiang's textile industry. Once operational, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of 390 million yuan and contribute 17.3 million yuan in tax revenue. Notably, the company has committed to recruiting 70% of its workforce locally, planning to offer over 260 technical positions such as spinning operators and equipment maintenance personnel. A vocational training center will also be established to support skill development. An official from Yuli County's Bureau of Industry and Information Technology noted that the project will also promote the development of related industries, including cotton cultivation and logistics, accelerating the formation of a textile industry cluster in southern Xinjiang.
